Rafael Alfonzo | Managing Partner
Rafael Alfonzo is an entrepreneur with more than 15 years experience operating, investing in, and representing startup and growth businesses. He is the founder and managing partner of Quatrefoil Capital.
Rafael previously co-founded Distributed Sun, a solar energy developer that builds and operates commercial solar power plants across the US. He also co-founded the Sloan Investor Group, an Angel network focused on seed-funding companies launched out of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Rafael also practiced law at Holland & Knight, an international law firm, where he represented clients ranging from private small & medium businesses to public companies. He is admitted to practice in California, the District of Columbia, Florida, and New York.
Rafael began his career serving as an officer in the US Marines, deploying throughout SE Asia and Latin America. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management, and The George Washington University Law School.
Braden Pan | Senior Associate
Braden is a lifelong entrepreneur, having started his first company at the age of 10. At Quatrefoil Capital, he is responsible for sourcing and evaluating deals in the energy and education sectors.
Braden previously founded PanTerra Ventures, a renewable energy consulting firm focused on assisting companies conduct technical diligence and review of solar power projects. Prior to that, he was Director of Operations at Distributed Sun, a solar power startup that builds and operates commercial solar power plants throughout the US.
Braden is a graduate of the College of William and Mary with a B.A. in Philosophy. He is also an MBA candidate at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business.
Britni Stinson | Senior Analyst
Britni is a social entrepreneur and launched her first venture at the age of 12. At Quatrefoil Capital, she is responsible for sourcing and evaluating deals in the education sector.
Previously, Britni was a ProInspire fellow and managed the $1.3B budget for an urban school district. She was also a member of Bellwether Education Partners Strategic Advising team where she developed strategic plans, and general management models for educational organizations and businesses. Prior to her work in the education space Britni worked as an operational consultant at McMaster-Carr Industrial Supplies, and an equity research analyst at Standard & Poor's.
Britni is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Government and Sociology.
